Which Portal Holds Your McDonald’s Pay Stubs? {#portal}
The McDonald’s employee payroll website is not one single URL. Corporate stores use account.mcd.com, while franchise spots might use ADP, AllianceHCM, or another payroll provider. Not sure which one your store uses? Ask your manager.
Answer this first: does your restaurant have a corporate owner or a franchise owner? If you are not certain, your pay stub header will often show the employer name. A corporate location shows McDonald’s USA as the employer. A franchise location shows the franchise operator’s business name.
Corporate McDonald’s — Pay Stubs at account.mcd.com {#corporate}
Corporate McDonald’s employees access pay stubs at account.mcd.com through the McHire system.
- Go to account.mcd.com
- Log in with your EID or archID username and password
- Navigate to Earnings or Pay Stubs from the main dashboard
- Select the pay period you need
- Download as a PDF to save or print
Most McDonald’s locations pay employees bi-weekly, typically on Fridays. Your new pay stub appears in the portal on payday. If a pay stub is missing, wait one business day before contacting payroll — occasional delays happen on bank holidays.
Franchise McDonald’s — Pay Stubs by Portal {#franchise}
HCMToGo users: Log in through the app or your franchise’s web URL. Tap My Information, then Pay Stubs. Select the pay period and download as a PDF. Full login steps are in our HCMToGo McDonald’s guide.
ADP users: Log in at workforcenow.adp.com with the credentials your HR department provided. Navigate to Pay, then Pay Statements. Select a pay period and download.
Paycor users: Log in at paycor.com with your employer-provided credentials. Find pay stubs under the Pay section of your employee dashboard.
Paychex users: Log in at my.paychex.com. Select Pay Stubs from the main navigation after logging in.
If you do not have login credentials for any of these, contact your manager or HR department — they provide your username, temporary password, and portal URL.
What Your McDonald’s Pay Stub Shows {#breakdown}
Your McDonald’s pay stub shows your gross pay (total before anything is taken out), deductions for taxes and benefits, and your net pay — the amount deposited into your account. It also includes your employee ID, pay period dates, and hours worked.
Understanding the main sections helps you catch errors quickly:
Gross pay — your total earnings before deductions. Includes regular hours, any overtime at time-and-a-half, and any bonuses for that pay period.
Deductions — federal and state income tax, Social Security, Medicare, and any benefit premiums you contribute to such as health insurance.
Net pay — what hits your bank account after all deductions come out.
Year-to-date totals — running totals of earnings and deductions from January 1 to the current pay period. These are useful for checking your annual earnings before W-2 season.
If any figure looks wrong, report it to your payroll department in the same pay period if possible. Corrections become harder to process retroactively.
Former McDonald’s Employees — Getting Old Pay Stubs {#former}
Portal access is typically cut within two weeks of your last day. If you are already locked out, contact HR at your former location and provide your name, employee ID, and the pay periods you need.
The fastest way to avoid this situation is to download all pay stubs as PDFs before your last shift. This takes about five minutes and gives you permanent access to your records regardless of what happens to your portal access later.
If you need pay stubs for a loan application, rental, or proof of income and can no longer access the portal, your former franchise’s HR office is your best contact point.
Common McDonald’s Pay Stub Problems {#problems}
No pay stub for the current pay period
Wait one business day after payday. If nothing appears after that, confirm your direct deposit bank details are correct in the portal — incorrect bank details sometimes cause the pay process to flag and delay the stub record appearing.
Pay stub shows wrong hours
Report this to your manager or payroll office immediately. If you’ve left McDonald’s, ensure you download your pay stubs before access is cut, typically within two weeks of your last day.
Payroll corrections take at least one pay period to process, so the sooner you flag the error, the sooner it gets fixed.
